What we record when you request a quote, why, for how long, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated 20 October 2026.
Chef de Parties, Schiemond 20, 3024 EE Rotterdam, the Netherlands. You can reach us on +31 85 212 7474 and at [email protected]. Everything below goes through us — there is no separate desk for it.
Only what you fill in on the quote form yourself: your name, your email address, your phone number, the date and type of event, the number of guests, the venue, the concepts you tick and the notes you write.
That last field is free text. Whatever you tell us there about dietary requirements or allergies we record, because otherwise we cannot cook for you. We do not ask for health data and do not need it: write “no nuts” without telling us why.
We buy no data and we build no profiles. Advertising cookies we set only with your consent, and only to measure whether an ad led to a request.
To send you a quote and to get in touch about your request. That is all.
The basis for that is performance of a contract, or the steps preceding one at your request — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. You ask for a quote; we need your details to make one and get it to you.
We do not send you a newsletter. The confirmation you receive after submitting is a confirmation of your request, not advertising.
Requests that do not become a booking we keep for two years after the last contact. After that it may still be useful to know we have spoken before, but the details themselves no longer are.
If it does become a booking, the administration the Dutch tax authority requires comes with it: seven years for invoices and what belongs to them.
Your request goes by email to Anton and Jidde, and the confirmation goes to you. That runs through sixtynine.email, the sending platform of the agency that built this site. They process your details solely on our instructions.
This site also runs at a hosting provider, which technically processes the data in transit.
If you consent in the cookie notice, Google processes the visit data described under “Cookies and statistics” below. Your quote request itself — name, email, phone, your notes — never goes to Google.
Nobody else gets anything. We do not sell your details, to anyone, ever.
With your consent we use Google Analytics to see how this site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive and how often a quote is requested. We see numbers, not names.
Google Analytics sets two cookies for this, _ga and _ga_ followed by a code, which last at most two years. Google processes that data on our behalf and may also process it in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
With the same consent we use Google Ads to measure whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to request a quote. Google Ads sets the cookies _gcl_au and _gcl_aw for this, which last at most 90 days, and Google may also read its own cookies on Google domains. Of a request, only its reference and the estimated amount go to Google Ads — no name, no contact details. Remarketing — showing you our ads elsewhere because you were here — is switched off.
This only happens if you click “Accept” in the cookie notice; the legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Click “No thanks” and Google Analytics and Google Ads are not loaded and nothing is measured. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw consent, we remove the cookies again.
We remember your choice itself in your browser, so we do not ask on every page. That data does not leave your device.
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to the processing, or ask for it in a portable file. Email [email protected]; we reply within a month, usually much sooner.
If you disagree with how we handle it, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. We would rather hear it from you first, but that right stands regardless of us.
The site runs entirely over https and your request leaves encrypted. Only Anton and Jidde have access to the requests.
If anything about this statement changes, we update the date at the top. There is no archive online; if you want to know what changed, ask us.
